Recently, many popular analysts have noted a decline in audience interest in Dota 2 due to the gradual transition of players to new games of the MOBA genre, in which developers provide more regular support with frequent updates.

The release of the latest Crownfall update was also coolly received by professional players. Gaimin Gladiators' Kerry Anton 'dyrachyo' Shkredov criticized the patch for its lack of significant changes to the meta.

Nevertheless, many fans do not lose hope for serious changes in the situation with the release of the new patch.
