Streamer Neulti shared an insider tip that many Tier-1 players, instead of preparing for The International 2024, are playing Deadlock due to critical bugs in Dota 2.
He mentioned this during a Twitch broadcast.
"Many Tier-1 Dota players are literally playing Deadlock at bootcamps because they don't want to play Dota 2 with the endless Hand of Midas bug. People have the most important event coming up before TI, and they're sitting and **** in Deadlock because Dota is like this right now."
According to him, due to the major issues caused by the
Hand Of Midas bug, many TI13 participants don't want to log into Dota 2 and train in matchmaking. Instead, they are spending time in Valve's new game, Deadlock, even though the World Championship is just days away.
Neulti didn't name specific players, but many have indeed complained about matchmaking, including members of
Team Spirit.
Earlier, Valve announced changes to the rules of The International 2024, which surprised the Dota 2 community.
