INSaNiA comments on the end of his career in Dota 2

Aiden “INSaNiA” Sarkoi said he decided to end his career as a professional Dota 2 player because he wants to spend more time with his family.

The player's words are presented on the official Team Liquid website.

"I want to have children someday, I want to spend time with my parents. They are getting older. I don't want it to be too late. My grandmother developed Alzheimer's early on. If that happened to my mom, I would never forgive myself. That's why I want to spend all these years with my family. For me, these things are ultimately much more important than winning another TI."

According to Aiden “INSaNiA” Sarkoi, he chose a career as an esports player because he believed he could be successful in this field. However, the player did not imagine that he would stay in professional Dota 2 until such a mature age. At the same time, the esports player noted that the end of his career is not related to age, as many representatives of the pro scene of his generation continue to play because of their desire to devote their lives to this activity.

"I chose this path because I thought I could be successful and believed in myself. I had no idea that esports would become what it is today, and I never thought I would be playing until I was 31.

Many of those I played with as a child will continue to play for a long time. They still have the passion and drive. Right now, that's what they want out of life. I don't think the end of a career is necessarily linked to age — at least for me. You can play much longer than many people think."
