Igor "iLTW" Filatov criticized
Hand Of Midas in the meta of patch 7.39d, calling the item clearly overvalued in Dota 2 matchmaking.
The streamer and former eSports player talked about this during a broadcast on Twitch.
"To be honest, Hand of Midas gives too little. 160 gold per use... Complete ***. It was nerfed too much. It seems like everyone is buying Midas out of inertia, although in fact it is a very bad item. Look: two Gloves of Haste give more attack speed than Hand of Midas. This is terrible. And it only gives three creeps with a two-minute cooldown"
iLTW noted that many players do not even realize how weak
Hand Of Midas looks in the current meta, and continue to buy it out of habit. According to him, the item has been weakened too much, and now it is more profitable to take even two
Gloves Of Haste - this will be a much more reasonable decision in the public.
The streamer emphasized that
Hand Of Midas used to be a really strong and even "broken" artifact, but now it has much more effective alternatives.
Recall that earlier Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko named the best heroes for easy victories in Dota 2 matchmaking.
