Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko suspected
Yakult's Brothers of organizing a 322 scheme in the playoffs of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. The esports player believes that Yakult's Brothers intentionally lost to
BetBoom Team.
The bold statement was made during a Twitch stream.
“They had a free draft, yet they stretched it to the late game. The guy on Grimstroke builds Aghanim's Scepter, and the Medusa player just can’t press ultimate. All he needs to do is press Black King Bar and his ultimate. Storm Spirit can’t do anything. Every time Storm Spirit jumps in, Lone Druid somehow attacks into it, even though Medusa could just use her ultimate. And she just doesn’t care.
I don’t know what’s happening. Maybe they’re 322-ing? It was such a free game. This is just 322. It was impossible to lose this game. I'm just shocked by what Emo was doing on Ember Spirit. I hope someone investigates this”
He emphasized that
Yakult's Brothers had a stronger draft but played teamfights poorly and failed to use their abilities properly. The pro player suspects that
Yakult's Brothers might have intentionally lost the match to make money. Moreover, Iceberg hopes there will be an investigation to determine if the team did indeed lose on purpose.
The club has not yet commented on these bold statements directed at them following their elimination from the Dota 2 tournament.
As a reminder, Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov recently named the person responsible for the new
Team Spirit lineup’s defeat.
