It's impossible to imagine a comfortable game of Counter-Strike without the console, as it's responsible for many useful settings. With its help, you can adjust the crosshair, add bots, use various cheats. Enabling the console is very simple, just follow a simple algorithm.
How to enable the console in Counter-Strike 2 through settings
To access the developer console, you need to change the game's initial settings. To do this:
After launching the game, press the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.

In the settings menu that opens, click on the "game" button.
Select the "Enable Developer Console" option and change the value next to it from "No" to "Yes".

Press the "tilde" key ("~" or "ё", the leftmost and topmost key on the keyboard).
The tilde key is set by default for opening, but in CS2, as in CS:GO, this key can be rebound to another button.

How to change the console call button in CS2?
Press the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Select the "Keyboard and Mouse" menu.
In the menu that opens, click on the "User Interface Keys" button.

Console issues in CS 2
