After the launch of the Quartero's Curios event in Dota 2, all players have a chance to earn a significant amount of free cosmetic items, including some of the rarest Arcanas.
To do so, players need to complete event objectives based on matchmaking games.
How to level up in Quartero's Curios
The Quartero's Curios event allows players to reach up to level 100.
To level up, you’ll need to collect 1,000 points, which are awarded for participating in Dota 2 matches.
Points are awarded as follows:
650 points — for winning a regular match
425 points — for winning a Turbo match
250 points — for losing a regular match
175 points — for losing a Turbo match
That said, reaching the maximum level (100) will require a real effort — players will need to win at least 154 regular matches. The number of games will be even higher if you're playing Turbo or losing matches.
Quartero's Curios Rewards
For each level, players will receive one of the guaranteed rewards.
The new event includes 11 visual effects, including teleport animations, level-up effects, and cosmetic upgrades for various in-game items.
The main highlights are three full sets for Witch Doctor, Legion Commander, and Vengeful Spirit.

How to get a free Arcana in Quartero's Curios
At certain levels, players receive a chance to unlock a random Arcana from any previously released in Dota 2 — via a Quartero's Rarity reward.
Players will have six chances to receive an Arcana, as the Rarity reward is given at levels 5, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100.
It’s worth noting that there is no guaranteed Arcana drop — players may receive any previously released cosmetic set, including Immortal or Arcana items.
When does Quartero's Curios end?
Valve has given players plenty of time to earn all rewards from the Quartero's Curios event — it runs until November 5.
In other words, players have almost three months to collect all available cosmetics.
As a reminder, Valve recently released Dota 2 patch 7.39d, which brought significant changes to the game.
