High MMR players are facing serious issues in Dota 2 matchmaking

In high MMR ranks of Dota 2, an unexpected issue involving rating boosters has emerged. Players in Immortal drafts are increasingly encountering entire groups of players engaged in open MMR boosting.

Players have been mass reporting the issue on Reddit, where they post screenshots as evidence.

Users are urging Valve to address the problem, which has become widespread at ratings of 6500 and above. One team is essentially steamrolling another, which does not resist and ends up gaining MMR. Additionally, double rating tokens are exacerbating the situation.

In the comments, there are calls for a wave of bans; otherwise, MMR inflation could reach shocking levels, and matchmaking will be broken.
