Heroic shocked everyone by ending Team Spirit's incredible winning streak

Team Spirit lost their winning streak of nine games when they were defeated by Heroic at the FISSURE Playground tournament. That was the first loss of the post Yatoro and Collapse era.

Nonetheless, many were surprised by the result. On his return, the seasoned coach and both champions had helped Team Spirit remain unbeaten so far. However, the match with Heroic ended with Team Spirit on the backfoot with a score of 2:0.

In the match before this fight, Team Spirit had the best shot on qualifying directly for the playoffs but due to this loss, they find themselves in the 2:1 qualifier team and will have to fight to claw their way to playoff contention. While this was happening, Heroic had a smooth ride hoping into the playoffs without dropping a single game during the group stage.

Some of the fans had their doubts with this result being achieved in the absence of Miroslaw "Mira" Kolpakov whom many feel is a focal player needed to restore Team Spirit to their former glory.

It will be noted that Mira had in the past spoken quite openly as to how Team Spirit performed an upset when they beat the Wang "Ame" Chunyu's team.
