Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen, a well-known streamer and World WarCraft III champion, is considering leaving Dota 2 due to the extremely toxic community.
The statement was made during a live stream on Twitch.
"Dota 2 is the best MOBA game in history. There were times when I rated it 10/10. Right now, I'm not enjoying it as much, not because it's bad.
But there is one problem - some members of the community. They don't know how to have fun, how to practice, how to get better. Sometimes losing is okay. So I'm not sure if I want to play this game anymore"
He emphasized that Dota 2 is indeed an incredible game, but all the enjoyment is ruined by aggressive and toxic players who have often criticized and attacked him or behaved inappropriately in matches.
"Often in my games, I felt like I didn't want to win with these teammates. They acted like toxic *****, who don't deserve to win"
It's worth noting that Grubby has not made a final decision yet, but he mentioned that he hasn't played Dota 2 for three weeks and doesn't miss it, taking a break. It's possible that he might stop playing Dota 2 altogether.
Previously, Grubby achieved a unique milestone in MMR speed, impressing the community.
