Jan "Gorgc" Stefanovski stated that he had offered multiple times to Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the former carry of
Team Spirit, to create their own team to qualify for ESL One Bangkok, but Yatoro ignored his messages.
The streamer shared this during a broadcast on Twitch.
"I didn’t register a team. Yatoro isn’t responding to my messages. I couldn’t put a team together. Maybe it’s for the best, as I would have had to play offlane or another position"
Gorgc admitted that he had repeatedly messaged the two-time world champion, but Yatoro didn’t reply. According to the streamer, he ultimately decided not to register a team for the qualifiers and is actually glad about it. He explained that if the former
Team Spirit carry had agreed, Gorgc would have had to switch to the offlane position.
It’s likely that Yatoro still doesn’t want to return to the pro scene or didn’t consider Gorgc’s offer serious enough for a player of his caliber.
Previously, Yatoro had mentioned that he and Miroslaw "Mira" Kolpakov were canceling their joint project.
