Yanne "Gorgc" Stafanovski, the well-known streamer, criticized Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko, the player of
BetBoom Team, for continuing to play on a smurf account in Dota 2.
The incident occurred during Gorgc's Twitch broadcast. A segment featuring the beginning of the conflict was posted on the Ez Dotes YouTube channel.
"He pretends he's not Nightfall. But this is his account; I checked it. I don't know why he keeps smurfing. They don't do anything to him. Valve bans in waves, so in six months, he'll get another 'warning.'
He's damn stupid. How can't he understand that smurfing is prohibited? Learn to read in English. Why does he do this? Nightfall is a piece of ****. Literally. Everyone stopped doing this, and he continues"
The matter did not end with mere dissatisfaction. It is possible that Gorgc reported Nightfall, and he could indeed face consequences on his main account.
"Are you proud of yourself? I've already confirmed that it's you. I hope your main account gets banned forever. Learn to read in English. Smurfing is not allowed"
Nightfall himself has not yet responded to such serious accusations, and Valve has not commented on the situation. It is quite possible that the esports player could face the next wave of bans after such a scandal.
Recall that
OG surprised the Dota 2 community with the news of Gorgc's departure from the organization, where he had been the official streamer for a long time.
