Jan "Gorgc" Stefanovski stated that the conflict between Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev and Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf started three months ago in a public match and eventually led to a scandal at PGL Wallachia Season 2.

The streamer shared this during his Twitch broadcast.

"Here’s what Falcons told me: three months ago, ATF called SoNNeikO brainless in a public match, after which SoNNeikO messaged Ammar on X, saying that if he qualified for a LAN, he would beat him up. And then they met in real life. SoNNeikO hugged ATF, then threatened to punch him and knock him face-first into the ground. That’s all that happened in the hotel lobby"

According to him, he managed to speak with Team Falcons, who explained that SoNNeikO had threatened ATF with physical violence three months ago after the public match. SoNNeikO said that if he qualified for a LAN, he would beat ATF up. Three months later, SoNNeikO hadn’t forgotten the insults and decided to get revenge on ATF for his remarks, Gorgc emphasized.

As a result, SoNNeikO's team was fined at the tournament, even though Team Falcons demanded the player be disqualified for making threats while at the hotel. The incident split the community, with some pro players siding with SoNNeikO, while others supported ATF’s position.
