Gaimin Gladiators captain made a statement after a crushing defeat to OG

Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp has congratulated the OG squad on their win against his team in the ESL One Bangkok 2024 Closed Qualification, stating that Gaimin Gladiators were not at their best preparation.

The player wrote the relevant comment on his personal X page.

“Alas, we are out of shape. Congrats to OG. They're not in shape yet either, but I hope the team and its fans will return to LAN tournaments.”

After replacing Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov with Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov, the Gaimin Gladiators roster failed to improve their results. At the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 tournament, the team was eliminated after the first round of playoffs, while DreamLeague Season 24 saw the revamped Gaimin Gladiators squad drop out of the top 10 after the first group stage. The defeat of OG in the lower net of qualification for ESL One Bangkok 2024 deprives the team of a chance to pass to the main stage of the tournament.
