The captain of Gaimin Gladiators delivered a symbolic message to fans

Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp, the captain of Gaimin Gladiators, encapsulated 2024 together with his team and himself in Dota 2 professional scene while showcasing off his suitcase which was damaged due to attending many tournaments.

He shared the post through his X (Twitter) account.

“My year in Dota has come to an end, just like my suitcase. It’s been a tough, but good year. It’s important to be appreciative of the good things in life! Next year has to be better, I will do my best and with a new suitcase, I will be better"

In this manner, he indicated the fact that it’s the end of the journey and now the team and himself are ready to embrace a new one. As seen through the imagery of the cut-up suitcase left behind, Seleri implied how the players are exhausted following the last season where they have played in nearly all of the cups.

This year was hard for the team indeed however they could secure 1st place at the Riyadh Masters 2024. Still, after the update of the roster, the team started to significantly underperform.
