Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp, the captain of Gaimin Gladiators, admitted that he washes his feet before Dota 2 matches but does it with a practical purpose.

He made the statement during a post-match interview at DreamLeague Season 22.

"I, of course, always drink my tea. Everyone knows that. At home, I always wash my feet before starting to play"

The esports athlete mentioned that he has two rituals before playing Dota 2: drinking tea and washing his feet.

Although it might seem somewhat unusual, he explained the practical value of this action before a game.

"It's hard for me to stay warm when I'm at home because I don't want it to be too hot in the apartment, which is why I open the window. Besides, I need oxygen, but then during the game, the room becomes too cold. But if I wash my feet with cold water, I feel warm during the game. So after each game, I go to the shower and wash my feet"

Interestingly, fans were surprised by this unexpected revelation, but it's worth noting that it indeed holds significance and can help the athlete play comfortably, thus showing good results in the match.
