Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, captain of
Gaimin Gladiators, announced that he has gained 13 thousand MMR in Dota 2, and also appealed to Valve with a request to overcome the problem of buying game accounts and return the ability to play with friends in matchmaking.
The player made the corresponding statement in X.
“Not sure if it means much anymore these days, kinda keeping with tradition to post every 1k mmr gained. Hope they find a better way to deal with accounts being bought/sold, I imagine it's not easy.
Also maybe for christmas we can get party mmr again? <3 Dota 2 dual>solo”

The booster issue in Dota 2 has long plagued the gaming community as it has a negative impact on the quality of matchmaking games. Experienced players who want to monetize their skills sometimes engage in boosting accounts to then resell to those who want to start playing from a high ranking right away. The presence of overly experienced players in low-rated matches negatively affects the experience of the other participants.
Earlier Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp commented on the result of
Gaimin Gladiators at the BLAST Slam I Dota 2 tournament.
