With the release of patch 7.34e, Valve also announced the return of Frostivus, a festive event in Dota 2 dedicated to winter holidays. The exact date has not been specified, but the community can look to the dates of previous events for reference.
The corresponding post was published in the developer's blog on the official Dota 2 website.

While Valve has only announced that the event will take place in December 2023, specific dates have not been provided. Nevertheless, we can speculate on the release time based on previous events that were typically around the same period.
Previous starting dates for Frostivus:
Frostivus 2012 - December 14;
Frostivus 2013 - December 12;
Frostivus 2017 - December 14;
Frostivus 2018 - December 19;
Frostivus 2019 - December 18.
Considering that ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 will last until December 17, Valve might choose not to distract the community and release the event immediately after the tournament concludes, around December 18 or 19.
