Fortnite last year included the new game mode titled Ballistic which can easily be referred to as a copy-cat version of one of Valve’s most talked-about titles.
The mode has several similarities to CS2 which are fully incorporated within the version. The primary addition is the first person point of view along with the 5x5 team arrangement. The objectives in the matches also comply with classical strategies of the legendary shooter wherein one of the teams aims to place the “bomb” in marked positions around the map and the other team aims to stop or defuse the bomb
The building mode was not only removed but also the characters have to spend credits at the beginning of the game which are earn during cash rounds. All custom items would still remain and if a player wants to access ranked mode, they would also be able to do so as per the developers.
Some CS2 players hold the view that the new game’s mode could thoroughly decrease or in simple words, take a good chunk of the online community. Since ASO of CS: GO and Valve’s CS: GO are already at its peak, the final intro of game mode in a way expands it by giving the opportunity to older communities.
