Former Natus Vincere player speaks out on Dota 2 roster salaries

Last updated:  MagicaL reveals his salary in Natus Vincere

Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian has stated that he now earns much more than he did as a Natus Vincere player, where he had the highest salary in his career in the Dota 2 pro scene.

The player made the corresponding statement on Twitch.

"Right now I'm getting ten times what I was getting in Natus Vincere. Natus Vincere had the biggest paycheck ever."

Although Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian did not reveal the exact size of his salary as a member of Natus Vincere, he said that back then, players on teams of similar level earned between $2,000 and $6,000 if they did not get meaningful wins comparable to Team Spirit's results. However, the player suggests that salaries in the Dota 2 pro scene could be higher now.

"I won't give you figures, but in general, between 2 and 6 thousand dollars are paid to players on the Dota 2 scene. Unless there are big wins like Team Spirit. I'm talking with a timing of three years. I think a lot has changed now, considering how much BK gets paid."

As a reminder, Matthew “Ari” Walker previously joined Natus Vincere's Dota 2 roster.
