Igor “Kaffs” Furtado Guimarães Estevão stated that David “Parker” Flores was not removed from
Heroic’s Dota 2 roster, but rather the esports player himself did not want to continue playing with the team, which he told his teammates.
The former
Heroic coach made this statement on YouTube.
“Many people think we kicked him, but that’s not the case. Parker himself told the team that he no longer wanted to play with us, having been benched. I believed until the very end that I could work with him, because at his peak, he is a genius and the best carry in the world.”
According to the former
Heroic coach, he tried until the very end to find common ground with David “Parker” Flores, considering him the best carry in the pro scene when he is at the peak of his preparation. However, during the qualifiers for ESL One Bangkok, serious conflicts arose within the team, during which the former carry’s behavior began to cross the line.
“However, during the qualifiers for ESL One Bangkok, conflicts arose that crossed all boundaries of what is acceptable in a professional team. I regret that the organization asked me to remain silent in response to his public attacks—it cost me a huge amount of hate from the Peruvian community.”
As a reminder, David “Parker” Flores previously revealed the amount of his salary at
Heroic.
