Forbes shared information on how much players earn in eSports, the cost of their transfer, and how the prize money is distributed.
The biggest salary of eSport`s superstar is $35,000 per month. Top players on average have a salary of $10,000 - $15,000, and beginners up to $5,000 per month. At the same time, there are no salary and transfer restrictions in esports.
According to Forbes, the cost of transfers in different disciplines greatly varies:
American club Evil Geniuses paid $75,000 to Russian organization Virtus.pro, for the transfer of Roman "RAMZEs" Kushnarev In September 2019. For the global Dota 2 transfer market, $75,000 is quite an adequate price for a good player, and up to $150,000 is paid rarely extremely only for superstars. Prices are higher in CS:GO. A player from the top-30 can cost $250,000 - $500,000 and more.
But in eSports, unlike other team disciplines, players receive 80-90% of the prize money. As a rule, the winning amount is divided equally between team players, and up to 5% each is received by the coach and the analyst.
