Artem "Fng" Barshak, former captain of
Virtus.pro, admitted that he might become a coach for a Dota 2 team, as he has already received several offers.
The esports player shared this information during a Twitch stream.
"It depends on the team. I would also need to develop some coaching skills because... I had offers, but when we discussed the coaching role in these teams, the main reason people wanted me as a coach was simply because they wanted me there.
But there weren't really any ideas about why I should be the coach, what my responsibilities would be, and so on. Obviously, I have ideas about what a coach can do, I have experience working with coaches, and I've done some coaching myself"
However, he clarified that he wouldn’t take on a coaching role just for the sake of it. He stated that he needs to carefully consider the offers and the motivations of the teams before returning to the pro scene as a coach. He also mentioned that he already has some coaching experience, though he didn’t specify which teams he had coached.
Previously, Fng revealed why he wouldn't return to the Dota 2 pro scene as a player.
