Artem “fng” Barshak is not confident in Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen's success as a Dota 2 coach due to his specific approach to gameplay.
The player shared this opinion on Twitch.
“I don't know what to say about Topson as a coach. It seems to me that he has too specific knowledge of the game to coach anyone. You can't teach people to think the same way you do. Unless you find someone who is very similar to you, so they will understand you. Maybe I'm wrong. It's hard to say.”
Acording to Artem “fng” Barshak, he believes that Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen could only efectively share his knowledge with a player who thinks in a similar way. Although fng recognizes Topson's high gaming intelligence, he is not sure that he will be able to work effectively with the younger generation of players, considering the esports player to be a good performer.
“Although... That's not entirely correct either. I think Topson has good game intelligence. I just don't know how good he is at the macro level to explain the game to the kids. Ceb is an excellent coach in this regard, as is N0tail. And Topson... He's probably more of a performer than a coach.”
Let us remind you that earlier, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen encountered an unusual bug with the Tiny hero in Dota 2 matchmaking.
