Fishman Reflected on the Prospect of Returning to Professional Dota 2

Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk stated that he has no plans to return to professional Dota 2 for now and wants to focus on streaming.

The player’s statement was posted on Telegram.

“For now, I want to stream. As for esports… If I suddenly climb to rank 50 or 100 and get invited to a good team, then maybe. But for now, you see, I… Well, before I hit zero, my highest rank was 350, and now it’s 400. So, hypothetically, if I had a better rank, I might have made it somewhere. But as it is… Well, there’s nothing to be gained there. I mean, I could go play in Tier 3, but playing in Tier 3 isn’t profitable or interesting.”

According to a statement by Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk, the esports player believes his current rank isn’t high enough to get into a good team. Moreover, after the MMR system update in Dota 2, his rank dropped even further. The player believes he could easily join a Tier 3 roster right now, but he isn’t interested in that, which is why Fishman will seriously consider a return only after his rank improves.
