Fans are shocked by Valve's decision to organize 16 matches on the first day of The International 2025.

Many have already called this tournament schedule a real "meat grinder". The fact is that all participants in the Dota 2 World Championship will start playing at 8:00 UTC, and the final ones will play until at least 18:00 UTC. If the matches drag on, some teams will have to play in the BO3 format until late in the evening.

It is interesting that the number of matches will only decrease. On the second and third days, there will be 12 matches, and on the fourth decisive day, there will be only 4 matches.

Fans noted that due to the organizers' decision, the first day of the tournament was oversaturated, and such a schedule puts significant pressure on the participants.
