Zaur 'Cooman' Shakhmurzaev said that during a long break from regular Dota 2 play he felt much calmer, but after the start of active play he began to feel laziness and anger again, and also noted a sleep disorder.
The pro-player shared the corresponding opinion in a personal Twitch broadcast.
“When I didn't play Dota, six months or a year, I was so generally calm. I could go into Dota, play a lot of games, I didn't care about the result.
Now I started to play actively again - I turned into some kind of amoeba. I'm too lazy to leave the house, I don't want to do anything, my sleep regimen is off, every day is some unreal anger.”
The streamer also adds that Dota 2 does have a negative impact on mental health, and the reason for this is not the game itself, but other players. Zaur 'Cooman' Shakhmurzaev states that he is often annoyed by the actions of other players, which he can't ignore.
“This game is really maddening. Not even the game, but the players playing it. Everyone is so infuriating. I can't turn a blind eye to them. I see it every day, it just pisses me off.”
