Esports World Cup 2026 Qualifiers: Schedule, Standings, Results

Esports World Cup 2026 for Dota 2 will take place from July 6 to 18, 2026, in Paris, France. The tournament is organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation with support from ESL FACEIT Group and is part of the annual Esports World Cup festival. Matches will be held offline and will feature some of the strongest teams in the professional Dota 2 scene.

Twenty-four teams are participating: 14 teams invited through the ESL Pro Tour rankings, and 10 winners of regional qualifiers. Participants are divided into four groups of six teams each, where matches are played in a round-robin format (Bo2).

After the group stage, the first-place teams from each group advance directly to the playoffs, while teams ranked 2nd to 4th move on to the Survival Stage. In this phase, 4th-place teams face 3rd-place teams, and the winners then play against 2nd-place teams for the remaining playoff spots. All Survival Stage matches are played in Bo3 format.

The playoffs use a single-elimination bracket with eight teams. All playoff matches are played in Bo3 format, while the grand final is played as a Bo5 series.

The tournament’s prize pool is $2,000,000. All participating teams will compete for a share of the prize money, while additional individual awards, including an MVP prize, are expected as part of the Esports World Cup ecosystem.
