Esports World Cup 2026 Has Been Officially Relocated to a New Venue

This year’s 2026 Esports World Cup will take place in the French capital, Paris.

The official announcement from the tournament organizers was made on X.

Initially, it was planned that the event would take place in Riyadh, as before. However, due to the unstable situation in the region, the possibility of relocating the esports festival was actively discussed within the community.

As part of the Esports World Cup 2026, teams from 24 esports disciplines will compete for a prize pool of $75 million.

As a reminder, Duncan “Thorin” Shields previously called on the organizers of the Esports World Cup to reconsider their approach to organizing Counter-Strike 2 tournaments.
