Timur «FL4MUS» Maryev got a 20-hour ban from VACnet anti-cheat for suspicious behavior in CS2.
The pro-player told about it in his Telegram-channel.
«****, played matchmaking — got banned for 20 hours by VACnet, thanks for anti-cheat»
He posted a screenshot with the punishment notification. The anti-cheat didn't specify what exactly happened, but noted that the player's behavior was "unusual". FL4MUS thinks it's a mistake, because he didn't break any rules and just played a match in CS2.
It's worth noting that many players complain about issues with the new VACnet anti-cheat, which Valve added to the game. Also, it's not unnecessary to remind about the situation with Said Sumail «SumaiL» Hassan, a Dota 2 pro-scene legend, who got a lifetime ban in CS2, although he claims he didn't break any rules.
Even though more than a year has passed since the ban was issued, and the pro-player tried to appeal the punishment, his account still shows a VAC-ban note.
