The first details of the first major tournament after The International 2023, ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, have emerged. The tournament will feature players and teams that have departed from Dota 2.

Commentator Alexey "STORM" Tumanov made this statement on his Telegram.

"Remember the announcement of the first tournament in the new season from ESL? Some details have emerged. Open and closed qualifiers will be held in all regions, including MENA, meaning that everyone will be able to participate. We can expect the formation of interesting stacks and the return of those who left Dota. The number of slots is currently unknown"

Recall that ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 is set to take place from December 11th to 17th, featuring the top 12 teams that qualify. Players will compete for a prize pool of $1 million.
