EPIC League Season 2 has been announced

Tournament operator Epic Esports Events has announced the second season of Epic League in Dota 2 instead of the previously announced OMEGA League season 2.

After two great tournaments that Epic Esports Events have organized with partners, we are pleased to return to the production of our own EPIC League, which has become our flagship online product.
In addition, the organizers announced the first details of the second season of the EPIC League in Dota 2:
- The matches of the second season of the EPIC League, as previously announced, will be played in two divisions in Europe/CIS region;
- Open qualifiers for the tournament will be held from October 29 to 30 on the FACEIT platform;
- The closed qualifiers stage will take place from November 3-11, the participants in the closed qualifiers will be announced later;
- Division II matches will run from November 11 to December 1. Playoffs for this division scheduled from December 8 to 13;
- The first division games are scheduled for the period from November 12 to December 5, the playoffs will be held from December 8 to 13;
- In the first division, the number of teams will be reduced from 12 to 10, which will play in one group, the number of matches will grow from 30 to 45;
- First Division members: Virtus.pro, NAVI, Alliance, Team Liquid, Nigma, Vikin.gg, OG and Secret;
- The prize pool of the first division is $500,000, the prize pool of the second division is $50,000.
