Elite League Season 2, organized by the Peruvian tournament operator ESB, is set to take place from July 25 to August 4, 2024. This online Dota 2 tournament will bring teams together to compete for a prize pool of $800,000 USD. The tournament marks a return to more traditional selection methods, including direct team invitations based on their performance throughout the year, returning to the format of the early years of The International.

Elite League Season 2 Format

Swiss Stage (Group Stage 1) - July 25 - July 27, 2024
- One modified Swiss-system of sixteen teams
- All matches are Bo3
- Top eight teams advance to round-robin stage (group stage 2)
- Remaining teams are eliminated

Round-Robin Stage (Group Stage 2) - July 28 - July 31, 2024
- One single round-robin group of eight teams
- All matches are Bo2
- Top four teams advance to the upper bracket of playoffs
- Remaining teams advance to the lower bracket of playoffs

Playoffs - August 2 - August 4, 2024
- Double-elimination bracket
- Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3
