Dyrachyo stunned with a statement about The International 2024 after Gaimin Gladiators' losses

Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov, the carry for Gaimin Gladiators, called the group stage of The International 2024 meaningless after GG less-than-stellar performance.

He posted a video on his Telegram channel.

"We finished second in the group, and our opponent is G2.iG. We'll be playing against them. We need to win to advance to the upper bracket. We probably could have played better, but there's no point in the group stage, let's put it that way. The main thing is to win the decider for seeding"

After GG finished the group stage with three lost maps, the esports player stated that they could have performed better, but it wouldn't have mattered. He explained that the only decisive factor at TI13 is the match for playoff seeding.

Many analysts expressed a similar sentiment before the tournament, as this year no team is eliminated during the group stage of the World Championship.

Now GG is set to face G2 x iG, with both teams competing for playoff seeding at The International 2024.
