Anton Dyrachyo Shkredov, the carry for
Tundra Esports, said he is not quitting for good, but is taking a break from the pro scene because of how uninteresting the tournaments are.
The famous esport athlete disclosed this on his Telegram channel.
“Truthfully, I decided to take a break from my career because professional Dota does not give me happiness. The feeling of excitement playing Dota tournament after Dota tournament is gone. So I decided that it is better to take a break until I do want to play again. During my break, I am going to travel, stream, and enjoy life while creating content for you. Make sure that you are not missing the content I am going to post”
Dyrachyo noted that after coming back to the pro scene, the lack of excitement he felt was unexpected, so he is taking a longer break. He did say that he would return once he has the motivation to compete again. In addition, he shared his plans for this period of inactivity, where he will focus on life outside of competing, streaming, and content creation.
Interesting to point out, he had previously made fun of his fans for saying he was going inactive from the Dota 2 pro scene due to something as simple as his girlfriend.
