Dyrachyo suddenly said he stopped playing Dota 2 because of a Valve restriction

Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov stated that one of the reasons why he no longer plays Dota 2 is Valve’s restriction that prevents high-MMR players from partying with friends.

The esports player talked about this during a Twitch stream.

“When there was a Compendium, I had motivation to log into Dota. There was a goal. When there was a Compendium, your goal was to go play with friends. Even now I can’t play with friends from my main account, with my girlfriend, with literally anyone. I just can’t, they banned me from doing it. So basically I need to go on some account with three thousand MMR. It’s nonsense. Dota is a game for company. The most fun way to play it is with friends and close people.”

Dyrachyo noted that раньше he used to play Dota 2 because of the Compendium, spending time with friends while unlocking rewards. Now, according to the esports player, that is gone. Moreover, he reminded that pro players and users with high rating can’t party with friends anymore, which also became one of the reasons why he almost stopped playing the MOBA.

According to him, in order to play with friends or his girlfriend he basically needs to create a smurf account, which looks completely absurd.
