Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, the carry for
Tundra Esports, mentioned that he was replaced because Egor ‘Nightfall’ Grigorenko could have been giving too many instructions and talking too much. It is possible that the players did not take it in a positive manner and this is how he ended up getting replaced.
The eSports athlete made this known during a discussion with KD ALL INN on YouTube.
“I’ve always thought that with Egor, he just talks a lot in pubs and everywhere, and tends to dominate conversations too much. Let me ask you this, have you ever talked to someone who dominates every conversation and if they did not allow you to speak, and in general just walked with you and did everything for you? It’s difficult to play like that, because your head stops thinking, and for some people, that can and is irritating, but not for others. The people are different, but they did perform fairly well, getting top-2, but not qualifying. They also got eliminated from DreamLeague, I think”
Dyrachyo also pointed out that Nightfall does a lot of talking during matches and starts directing players. This, according to him, might cause issues in the team because it is not easy to focus and play well in those types of situations. He also added that Nightfall’s ambiguous replacement most likely had to do with the team’s vague results in official matches.
Dyrachyo gave positive remarks on the previous roster's performance saying that they did quite great within the Pro Dota 2 Circuit.
Earlier, Dyrachyo had also elaborated on how
Tundra Esports pulled off that seemingly impossible but stunning comeback.
