Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov, the carry player for
Gaimin Gladiators, has recently been focusing on
Muerta, the same hero that Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk started playing actively before The International 2024.
According to data from Dota2ProTracker, Dyrachyo has played 7 matches with
Muerta over the past 4 days, but his win rate on the hero is only 28.57%. In contrast, Yatoro's performance with
Muerta shows a win rate of 83.33%.

It's quite unusual that both carries have chosen to play
Muerta, especially considering the hero's low win rate in matchmaking, which currently stands at 45.79% and has been declining since the 7.37c patch. Furthermore,
Muerta is not a popular pick and does not fit well into the current meta.
It’s possible that both players are working on a unique build for
Muerta to surprise opponents during the draft phase at TI13.
For context, earlier Yatoro had also started playing an extremely unpopular hero in Dota 2 matchmaking.
