Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov said that he could quickly get back into shape if he wanted to return to professional Dota 2, but the player feels good being inactive because he now has time for his personal life.
The player made this statement on Twitch.
“What prime? I've always played the same way. Sometimes I was lucky, sometimes I wasn't. So I don't really care. If I want to, I'll come back, if I don't, I won't. I'm happy as I am. You know... If, hypothetically, I were playing Dota 2 right now, I wouldn't be celebrating...”
According to Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov, this was the first time in a long time that he was able to celebrate his birthday properly. The player believes that if he were playing on a professional team, participating in The International 2025 would not have allowed him to celebrate in this way. The esports player noted that he values his personal celebration more than the prospect of participating in TI14 in terms of priorities.
"I don't remember ever celebrating my birthday like this before. And if I had played at TI14, I wouldn't have celebrated such a wonderful birthday as I did. With gorgeous views, pleasant company, and my loving girlfriend. I had a great time. And if I had to choose between playing at TI14 and celebrating normally, visiting places I wanted to visit, there's no comparison. The Int is long gone. I would have sat there playing Dota 2, and I would have been very bored."
Earlier, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov blamed Remko ‘Crystallis’ Arets and Tobias “Tobi” Buchner for
Tundra Esports' defeat by
Xtreme Gaming in the playoffs of The International 2025.
