Although Andrey “Dread” Golubev admits that Clinkz is a pretty good hero in ideal conditions thanks to his high health and high damage, it's still very easy to counter this character in the current melee if you play against him in a bunch.

"I think Clinkz in a perfect world and perfect Dota is very cool because he has a lot of health, in a lockdown he absorbs, he has a lot of damage, he has the ability to split and farm quickly, but that's in a perfect world. In reality, we see that the hero is just smeared all over the map by two heroes, one stan and he's dead."
