dota dragons blood new season details

Netflix recently postponed the release date for DOTA: Dragon's Blood Book II to January 18th. The fans were unhappy, but are patiently waiting for the new season of the anime.

Ashley Edward Miller, scenarist of the animated series DOTA: Dragon's Blood, shared the details of Book II plot on his Twitter. He also noted the voice actors who took part in the creation.

Invoker

Invoker

«Do you love me?» The Invoker doesn’t get a pretty new dress courtesy of ⁦creators⁩ but he does make some swell new friends… including Vahdrak, Father of Chaos. The great Troy Baker⁩ brings arrogance and quiet humanity to the Invoker’s deeply personal quest.

Davion

Davion

The theme of Book 2 is “duality”. Who are we on the outside, who are we underneath… and which of those are we REALLY? No one embodies this dichotomy more literally than Davion, played by ⁦Yuri Lowenthal⁩. Studio Mir⁩ doesn’t give him a new dress, either.

Slyrak

Slyrak

The Father of Fire returns! In Book 1, Slyrak’s intentions were a mystery even to the Thunder. In Book 2, we learn exactly what the Ember Eldwurm needs from Davion… and what it will cost him. ⁦Tony Todd brings gravitas to the awesome design by Studio Mir.

Kaden

Kaden

No one hates Slyrak more than Kaden. No one has more reason. In Book 2, he grapples with the possibility that hate is a luxury belief when facing down Armageddon. Anson Mount brings back Kaden’s tortured compassion with grim deadpan delivery. ⁦

Bram

Bram

The cinnamon roll we deserve. Bram didn’t see much action in Book 1, but Book 2 finds him very much in the thick of it. What makes a Dragon Knight? Is it a sword? A kill? Or something else entirely? Josh Keaton explores the question with help from Studio Mir.

Terrorblade

Terrorblade

Terrorblade wants out of Hell and will remake reality to do it. He seems invincible, but his true power lies in how he exposes lies we tell ourselves and truths we won’t. What reality would he make? The one we DESERVE. ⁦JB Blanc brings the menace.

Selemene

Selemene

How the mighty have fallen. In Book 2, Selemene learns what it means to be a god without power. Forced to contend with the Filomena’s death, how will the loneliness and grief change her? Alix Wilton Regan finds new vulnerability in Selemene’s struggle.

Fymryn

Fymryn

She had the best intentions: return her family to their ancestral home; restore their goddess. But the journey ended in blood and madness. Voiced by Freya Tingley⁩, Fymryn sets out to stop the violence she began and become who she was meant to be.

Luna

Luna

Her powers are gone, her goddess is silent. She’s on the run behind enemy lines with a token force and she’s mortally wounded. Then everything REALLY turns to shit. Which Luna will survive? The person she hopes she can be, or the Scourge? Kari Wahlgren takes the pain in Book 2.

Coriel’tauvi

Coriel’tauvi

1000 years ago, the Coriel’tauvi were masters of the world. Then Selemene came and they retreated to their enclaves. With Selemene gone, Stephany Jacobsen leads the battle as Drysi to bring down the empires of humanity and restore the dominion of Night and Shadow. War is coming.

Marci

Marci

Marci is everything we wish we could be. Strong, loyal, brave, wise, loving, kind, clever, relentless and indomitable. But she’s also a bit of a mystery… Book 2 shows us why our Best Girl isn’t just Mirana’s handmaid but a hero in her own right.

Lina

Lina

They call her the Slayer. They say she’s only capable of one thing: destruction. Lina knows she can be more… a warrior. A protector. A hero. Victoria Atkin gives the Slayer her voice and her soul in DOTA: Dragons Blood when Book 2 premieres on January 18.
