Valve has revealed the full story of Ringmaster in a new comic

Valve has revealed the full backstory of Ringmaster in Dota 2 by releasing a comic dedicated to the new hero.

The complete version of the comic was published on the official Dota 2 website.

The story explains that Ringmaster was originally just a mechanical puppet in a traveling and not very successful "Wind-Up Circus." The real name of Ringmaster is Kaliostro. The circus owner used him in dangerous juggling tricks, but the puppet failed to impress the audience. After one of the performances, a witch offered to bring the wind-up toy to life, but the owner, in anger, threw her out and threatened never to return.

However, when he went to a local tavern, the witch returned to exact her revenge. She did manage to animate Ringmaster, who then gained consciousness and malevolent intent. Ultimately, the puppet took revenge on the owner and began tormenting him by performing in the circus alongside him.
