Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, former esports player and streamer, believes that the small patch 7.34d not only fixed many bugs but also shocked pro players just 6 days before TI12.
NS decided to predict the reaction of esports players to the Dota 2 update on his Telegram.
"In Dota 2, a patch was released a week before The International 12. The update is small, of course. They fixed a bunch of bugs, changed the balance. It's not critical. But have you seen the faces of the esports players? Valve loves to throw in a little surprise for the esports athletes. It's definitely good for the viewers. This patch will definitely introduce some changes to the drafts"
Some pro players are already talking about how the meta at The International 2023 will change. Fishman even named a potential most popular hero in the upcoming tournament.
