Team Secret manager, Matthew «Cyborgmatt» Bailey, on Twitter announced the exact release date for the patch for Dota 2 - April 20
Holy shit, the hype is real. Leaked comms from Berlin Major teams:
"We wanted to provide advance warning that it's SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER than a normal gameplay patch."
Best part? Patch drops next week.
"We're aiming for release early afternoon (PST) on Thursday, April 20th."
Despite everyone's hype, Dota 2 statsman Ben «Noxville» Steenhuisen expressed concerns about the patch stability in the first days after the release and noted that this could affect the results of the latest games of Dota Pro Circuit, DreamLeague Season 19 and especially ESL One Berlin Major 2023.
Majors are hugely important in terms of TI qualification, there's no good reason this patch can't come out directly after the major.
Don't forget that that this is not just during Dreamleague, but also in the last week of Div 2 (Alliance vs AT is ~15 hours after this patch).
