Possible evidence has emerged that one of the Dota 2 pro players is involved in match-fixing.
Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
He did not reveal the player's name but claimed that he had received alleged proof suggesting this, although he has doubts about their authenticity. It's entirely possible that this esports athlete will be competing at TI12, which could jeopardize the championship.
"By the way, today I was sent hardcore 'proofs' that one of the current players is involved in 322. Well, 'proofs'... Around 20 pages of text not proving anything, with comments from the most marginal and disgusting individuals on the subject, a bunch of guesses, conspiracy theories, and so on. In general, nothing new"
It's unclear whether Maelstorm will disclose the name of the player under investigation or provide the available information to Valve for further investigation.
