Valve has finally launched Frostivus 2024 in Dota 2

An update for Dota 2 was recently issued by Valve, bearing the titleof Frostivus 2024, the update allows players to craft festive items and earn special rewards based on winter themes.
This information was reported on the website of Dota 2.
“The players will have to perform a series of holiday tasks in the game, an example being: throwing a snowball at an enemy’s face before stabbing them, stealing their hat or simply slapping them. Anyone who has played the game for the holiday season knows exactly what it means, each time slapping an opponent earns them in game currency and allows them to make seasonal skins. A snow bell let it Pudge Dismember, instant classic. You bet there’s fun skins for the holiday, drunk wizards, couriers dressed like them, the works”
The event commenced on December 19 and is expected to last until January 15, it provides players a large time frame to earn holiday themed skins alongside other items during the event such as Crowfall coins.

However, many players have expressed their disappointment since they thought it would be full-fledged 7.38 patch release during which the meta was thought to significantly shift.
