On Reddit, there are calls to ban Vladlen "Mariachi" Grebenkov from Dota 2, as the streamer is allegedly violating community rules by smurfing.

The corresponding thread is gaining popularity on Reddit.

It is reported that smurf accounts are ruining the gaming experience for fans and could scare away new players, as Dota 2 may seem incredibly difficult due to such opponents. Mariachi started a challenge for himself to reach Titan rank from scratch in 10 days, using random heroes, which sparked discontent.

Users have supported this idea and believe that other esports players or streamers who break the smurfing ban should also be banned.
