10 years ago Dota 2 left beta and was officially released

Today, July 9th, marks 10 years since Dota 2 left the beta test stage and was officially released. The legendary MOBA became available to everyone from July 2013.

This event coincided with the grand final of the last Dota 2 Major this year - Bali Major.

Valve decided to prepare gifts for the players and a special The International compendium for the anniversary.

The developers also revised their policy and some of the resources that were supposed to be spent preparing the Battle Pass in 2023 went to the release of patch 7.33 - The New Frontiers.

Valve has no plans to release The International Battle Pass this year. Instead, resources will be diverted to updates and improvements to the game.
