Danil “donk” Kryshkovets stated that
Team Spirit’s CS2 roster began playing with much more confidence after the IEM Rio tournament.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“We trained; there were no days off; we pushed ourselves hard. Some lost weight, others gained muscle. We trained; we didn’t really have any days off. I think we only had one day off in two weeks for reasons beyond our control. It was just productive training.
We accumulated a lot of material. The result at IEM Rio was good. I’d even say it motivated us and gave us confidence that we can do something. We worked, I think, even harder than usual.”
Moreover, according to a statement by Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, the
Team Spirit roster actively worked on their gameplay ahead of the PGL Astana tournament following improved results at the previous event. The player acknowledged that the team had only one unscheduled day off in two weeks, and the rest of the time the roster was actively training.
As a reminder, Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets had previously started playing Dota 2 more often than Counter-Strike.
