Donk Defended Hally by Responding to the Hate Directed at the Team Spirit Coach

Danil “donk” Kryshkovets believes that the hate directed at Sergey “hally” Shavaev stems from fans’ desire to criticize someone.

The player made this statement in an interview with HLTV.

“Honestly, people will always judge and hate someone. If you win, they’ll, how should I put it… praise that person. If you lose, they’ll hate that person very much. That’s just how Counter-Strike works: if you lose, you’ll be hated; if you win, you’ll be loved. And that’s basically it.”

Acording to Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, fans admire the winners but criticize players on teams that suffer defeats. Nevertheles, the esports player believes that such criticism shouldn’t be taken seriously, and that Sergey “hally” Shavaev can be considered a good coach, judging by the long-term results of his work.

“I think we shouldn’t pay attention to this because it’s just a media story. We don’t need to prove anything to anyone.

It would be foolish not to consider hally an excellent coach. Before the roster change, he led the team to the semifinals and quarterfinals of a Major. Even without me, they were a top-5 team in the world at their peak. He’s an excellent coach, and I think that’s obvious to anyone who knows Counter-Strike.”
